Have You Ever Been Terminated From Your Place of Employment? I don't mean losing your job due to a company closing or downsizing, I'm referring to a "clean out your desk, you're no longer with us" situation. I used to know someone who once got fired from Burger King!! Don't know how the heck anybody can get canned from a fast food place, but I guess it happens. [Edited 7/8/05 17:30pm] RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

yeah, i got fired from the first job i got when i first moved to chicago. it was the first time i ever got fired in my life, and it was a really shady, depressing, freaky situation. they wanted me to sign a confidentiality agreement saying that they didn't fire me and that i left on my own accord and all this crazy stuff, and i told them where they could file their agreement.

Damn, that sux that you were fired. But kudos to you for telling them to take their confidentiality agreement and to stick it where the sun doesn't shine. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

one of them was after one day... oh man, i did that. i got a job as a waiter that was just NASTY and EVIL and even though i made almost two hundred bucks on my first day, i was worked and harrassed so much that i just went home and cried and resolved never to go back or to even call to let them know i wasn't coming back. it was traumatic!

one of them was after one day... That's quite alright. If you don't like the job, why should you stay there and be miserable? RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I wouldn't enjoy coming home from work at night smelling fishy, and having all the neighborhood cats following me. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
