I believe it came out in the 70s.It's a strange tale about a young boy who believes his dead identical twin is still alive & he speaks to throughout the movie.He kills people who he feels who are a threat to him including another young boy(strategically placed pitchfork) & an infant baby (drowned in a barrel of water).In his twisted mind he assumes his evil twin commited these acts. His grandmother (famous european actress) finds out what he has done tries to kill him through a barn fire & ends up only killing herself.Anybody who knows the title please post here.Thanks.

That would be a movie titled "The Other" and came out in 1972.

I remember that movie, yeah, it's "The Other". Grandma taught the little boy the ability to "occupy" other living things thru concentration or something like that...he "occupied" a crow, I believe, who ended up getting speared by a pitchfork by mistake. You don't know that one of the twins is dead until late in the movie...until then you assume that both twins are still alive.
