She is 5'11" and I am 5'7". We don't care.

I doubt anyone on the org is or has been in a hetero relationship with a similar height-difference, although I see couples like us out in the world all the time.

OK, I realize that I'm going to hell for this.

But when I was in basic training in the Air Force, I was a Buddhist, Prepreterian(Spelling?), Baptist, and Catholic all at the same time for about 6 weeks. I did this to attend all their services on Sunday. It got me out of the barracks and away from yelling and screaming and tedius chores.

I kissed a complete stranger on the tram home from work once I was not drunk or anything. He said "kiss me" and I did. I can't believe I did that. He was cute though

Having said that, I'm 6ft 3 while my wife is 5 ft 2, but of course the height difference that way is perfectly normal.

We're cuuurazy. Actually with shoes on I'm closer to 5'8" and she wears flats anyway cause she hates heels (luckily for me).

It's certainly been the most different, challenging relationship I've ever been in....but also the most worthwhile. It really makes you focus on the things that actually matter in life and you can see just how shallow some people are. We have laughed about it a fair bit in our time. Good litmus test for our real friends, who laugh with us.
