that's exactly why i love mine, i've got the shuffle and a mini but i end up using the shuffle way more often, i just plug it into the computer in the morning, autofill it, and then go, i end up hearing all kinds of music that i haven't heard in ages because i forgot about them, or they weren't my favorites. it makes me rediscover all these songs that i LOVE but haven't listened to much. It probably wouldn't be as good if i were more of a control freak, but i'm happy letting the music go where it wants.

are any of you Ipod wizards? I bought one two days ago and its been synching my library now for over 36 hours. Is this normal for a 40g library? I bought the 60g pod.

I have a mini disc. Same concept but with removeable memory. A disc will hold 5 hours of music- I've got about 50... slap full!

i have an ipod shuffle, just the 512MB one. i loves it so...i'd upgrade to an ipod mini, if i had the money.

wtf is that podcast feature or whatev?
what does it do? ive been trying 2 find a description of the feature and i cant

and i guess now we can view videos via itunes? (if we could b4 i didnt know, so whatev) cuz it has the option "show video full screen"


oh and by the way, im runnin on windoze, so for the mac users, help would be great but it would prolly get difficult (dont know how different the versions are)

It charges while playing and you see no cables. I still think is great one year later
The only thing is you can't use the CD charger but who needs it when you have 10000 songs in your iPod?
