It was boring.

No cookouts, no beach, no halter tops, no fun.

No fireworks, no boyfriend (he had to work), no friends (my friends are useless and only call when they want something, in other words, they aren't really my friends).

I remember the past.
-the beach
-the breeze
-the fireworks (with past boyfriends)
-the rides
-the fun
-my childhood and teenage years (seems like i did more then than I do now)

I hate to sound down in the dumps, but I thought i would actually be doing something this holiday, and i'm not. It's just a day off from work to me. Oh well back to the slave mill tomorrow morning....

Anybody else have a boring 4th of July?

not exactly boring, but i didn't do anything today either. i had to work tonight, but my sweetie was off today so we slept in and i made a big batch of biscuits and gravy for breakfast and we watched "wings of desire" on DVD. then i had to come to work. bleh.

I drink till the computer seems exciting, it's worked out quite well tongiht.

Well basically we had no fireworks for once,just a BBQ,ice cream and watched the Pacifier.


I guess it's b/c I'm the only American one in my family. Mom-Chilean,Dad-Peruvian and My sister's canadian!

I have a lot of Fourth of July memories that are really great! Waterskiing as fireworks shot over the lake, big celebrations in Minneapolis, smaller one's in Aitken or Bemidji, barbeques, family gatherings. When I was growing up, every July 4th there was a big get together..lots of fun...they are not the same anymore. Turns out my family is a bunch of rednecks...but they are relatively harmless..

nonono...it's when ya take some ground sausage (or in my case, a pound of boca veggie italian sausage crumbles) and mix it into a white roux sauce with lots and lots of black pepper, then ya pour it over freshly baked homemade biscuits. it's yummy.
