Naaa so could you educate me... via orgnote if you like or here about this artwork please ? My pleasure... The "Eye" artwork...I originally received it as a postcard from my best friend from college. We were both art students, and kept in touch in very unique ways during breaks in the school year. We used to design our own envelopes, creating some rather intricate mailing envelopes with paint, glue, string, pen & ink...trying to out-do one another with each successive envelope. We both kept the envelopes we created, and I used to have a few of his framed. Well, when we weren't designing one-of-a-kind envelopes, we were looking for one-of-a-kind postcards, still trying to out-do one another. The eye artwork was one of the postcards he sent me, and I immediately fell in love with it. At some point I turned it into an avatar after digging thru literally 50+ postcards and envelopes from over 10 years earlier. I don't know the name of the artist, if I find the postcard I'll give you a little more info on who created it and its design. | |
