FIREWORKS!!! It's not too late to go shoot some or watch them. Too chicken to go for the big rockets? Stick to sparklers and those little chickens that waddle around after you light them Those little snappers are fun too....and harmless. But Remember...safety first. Happy 4th of July. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

People are messing with those things like crazy where I live. They've been doing it for hours. It's going on all around me.

thankfully i live downtown so it's not like i'm surrounded by the noise of people settin off their fireworks in their backyards all night (and for the next few days afterwards, if they bought a lot)...i get to watch fireworks nearby from the comfort of my own home (some get set off every year here downtown).

all the big firework stuff already happened in chicago last night, which i think is kinda lame, but ah well. at least there won't be throngs of drunk suburbanites with their screaming cranky kids when i get off work tonight and head home...

I rollerbladed to the outer harbor and saw the big fireworks show in Lower Manhattan all the way here in Brooklyn. It was so pretty seeing all the different firework displays popping in the city, New Jersey and Staten Island at the same time.
They're still popping worx outside.
