The end of the tv series "Lost"

This may be old now for you lot in the U.S but here in New Zealand we just got the last episode last night and all I Can say is that if I should happen to bump into a producer of the show in the next few days (unlikely) Ill prolly bury him in a barrel of quick lime. YOu fuckin bastard, string me along for 6 fuckin months and then give me NO fuckin payoff whatsoever.. You suck and I hope you die soon.

I got hooked on it. I have one of my best friends to blame. I actually found and downloaded the entire season. I think it took me two days to watch. That's 25 episodes.

And how did you feel about 10 minutes from the end when you started to get that sinking feeling in your stomach that maybe you were about to fall victim to one the worst stitch ups in television history and why, all becuase the producers were caught by surprise by the shows popualrity and new that the only way they could get paid for a second series was to not reveal anything. IT makes me mad, so mad in fact that if Palpatine were here he could use my anger to turn me to the dark side. "ARise Darth Lust and kill the producers younglings"

by the way I will boycot series two.

So in your mind they should have given us a resolution to the entire series? What about season 2 and 3 etc? Season 2 has some new characters so it should be very interesting and I'm looking forward to it.

Are you pissed that the X-Files didn't come to a final resolution each season either?

What's funny is that like a dummy I realized, half way through, that they couldn't reveal anything until the cancellation of the show.

It's not like we got NOTHING. I do get you. I do. And they at least should have given a wee bit more than they did..like show what the hell was at the bottom of the hatch or something. I also think if they had given us too much, it would end up very plausable. And to THAT end I have to say...WE'VE ALL THOWN OUT PLAUSIBILITY>...GIVE US THE GOODS.

That said, I do think they may have very carefully led us down a complicated path that they will explain next season. I think that season one was an unintensional set up for what is to happen. pray I hope the writers actually know. I did notice how they started connecting all of the dots (or realigning them) starting in the middle of the season. I definitely sense more of a direction now with the series.

I still would have liked to have seen one more season. It was getting good toward the end of season 2.

oh and and and...they kept messing with the damn time slot...I don't really think that TP's demise was entirely the writers fault. not what you're sayin...but just sayin. sigh

Though there were ...er plots that could have not been.

it's true...

I had a TP night at my house and after BOB was found out they lost interest. Even though it gets more interesting...

I suppose with Lost, I give it a good 3-4 seasons. The actors are not THAT good. However, the story writing and plot has made up for much of it's short comings. Endo was a bit miffed at it towards the end too. I liked it...but it was no "who shot JR" nor did it really satisfy until really the end...though it was good. As I said...it better be going somewhere.

Killer Bob was great! I wanted TP to never end and to go on forever, I wouldn't have cared if nothing was ever resolved. biggrin
