I don't know where my baby photos are, but here is one of my sisters and I. I was probably about 4 in this photo - I'm the one on the left. As a baby I looked a lot like my younger sister (on the right).

This is a photo of a photo, by the way. biggrin

Not scary, just interesting. I actually didn't notice the Japanese stuff. I just saw the picture and thought "aww such cute Asian kids". And then when I saw it was you I had to think back at your adult pic for a while and piece it together in my mind. You look more caucasian now, in my opinion. No offense or "bad/good statement" intended.

When we were little and my mom (who has blonde hair and green eyes!) would take us about, people assumed she was babysitting us and nothing more.

But then when my sister and I went to Japan with our father - the Japanese one - everyone assumed we were not related to him and instead were "home stay" from America, living in his house and nothing more.

I find it quite interesting.

What about when the whole family was together? What did people think then? I guess it's better if they thought you were Asian-looking because then the worst thing they could assume would be that your mom was a nanny. If you were more caucasian-looking, then I suppose the worst case would be that they thought your dad was cuckolded and your mom had taken too much interest in the mailman or something. lol
