The day is treating me right!
A friend I was really missing and I couldn't get in contact with, called me today! Haven't spoken to him for 9 months!   The Borg... Partypoopers of the galaxy.. ( Medical Hologram )

i'm at work. 
though i'm at work all by myself. 
the weekend was good - went to a party, saw a play, watched a couple of movies on DVDs, made a particularly yummy batch of vegetarian biscuits & gravy for brekkies this morning - can't complain about the weekend. oh, except that i have some kind of annoying sinus infection thingie. i could complain about that. | |

my day has been wonderful ... came home from my camping trip i left on friday for ... and with about 9 hrs total sleep thus far i feel altered and have this great new perspective on things
did my chores cooked and cleaned up dinner and now i am waiting to take my kids to asheville for the fireworks @ 10 pm  [Edited 7/4/05 15:57pm] | |

today's been great! actually, the entire holiday weekend has been. i've been hanging out with friends most of the time.
now that 'explosives' section of the day is about to begin i'm hanging at home. don't want to be on the road on one of the days predicted to be one of the most drunk-driving casualty intensive of the year . . .  | |

The wife, kids and I are about to spend the rest of the 4th with an elderly couple that we know.
At her advanced age, this woman has decided to continue her education. So my teenage son tutors her in Algebra a few days a week in exchange for piano lessons. Me, i'm looking forward to rummaging through her Jazz collection.
