what is LOVE to you??? do you think that if you love someone and you get intimate with that person but you don“t really like the way they do "perform"...does that effect the feeling? And if on the other side the "sex" or Love making is great do you love them even more?Does sex have anything to do with love???
Or the Love we have for our children...I as a mother can say, I would do anything for my child! I would die so my child could live (extrem thought) but I never feld that way for a man....was I ever in Love???

Persormance in bed does not effect my feelings. no.
I would do anything for the woman I love, including rinking my life to save hers.

You can't compare love for your child with love for your man, they're simply two completely different types of love. In a way you could say that the love for the child is stronger since it is purer and also unconditional, but at the same time it's not as multifacteted as love for another adult. Like I said, they're not really comparable.
When it comes to sex I can separate it from love, but not to the degree that I can love one person and have sex with another. To have sex with someone I don't love works fine though, as does being in love with someone I'm not having sex with.

How? There were reasons why you fell in love in the first place and if those reasons disappear along the way then you'll find it hard to stay in love. With children, you love them right from the start and that doesn't change whatever they do. No offense, but I think it sounds a bit naive to believe that love between adults can be unconditional. We can only answer this when we die I guess. I know some people whose love for each other is unconditional. I think the love for my boyfriend is just as well, but I guess I'll only have the right to speak when I'm dying. Still, love can be very unconditional on the moment itself. On the other hand, my parents have done very shitty things to me during the last two years. Sure, their love for me might be unconditional, but still my boyfriend respects me much more, if you know what I mean.

I disagree again The person I fell in love with, I actually loved from the moment we've met. She is a changed person these days, lives her own life, has different feelings, different ways of life and yet I still love her unconditionally. meaning I don't expect anything in return for my love. It's there. it exists and it's as strong as it was when we were together. What I'm saying is, there are no conditions to my love.

Making love to me is in my mind. the body is only a tool to show the love that is in my heart and mind. So the performance will always feel perfect to me even if physically it's not.

I'm sure there's something she can do that can make you fall out of love with her. I know it sounds silly, but imagine for a moment that she would go crazy and try to harm you in every way. I'm sure you wouldn't love such a person. You might still love the memory of what she was back then, but not what she has become. Love for your children is something quite unique in my opinion, but it sounds like we have to agree to disagree here.

It would make me run away in fear, but will not change my feelings.

Maybe if we would be able to answer these questions we would lose all those feelings. For me there is no black and white. Just so many inbetweens. I mean I would never touch I child, but I can fall in love for two minutes with the minuscule hairs on a children's arm.

I'm very happy for her, and wish her the best. My feelings haven't changed and it's been 2 years since. I don't believe it'll ever change, only time will tell, but I'm ready to find someone who I could love the same way. One that I will be able to stay with.

In the passing of a relationship.... I think lust is just that feeling of "awwww..." and then, "o well", when someone new walks by two minutes later. Love is more like a ... "OH GOD why am i forced to go back to life without this person...I'll be good, God, I swear I'll be good..."You say "o well", but never mean it. Even after nothing comes back to the way it was, you still hope it will in your heart of hearts. In a relationship-- lust is...when you roll over and wonder when the hell their leaving/ how the hell your gonna get out of there as quick as possible, even though it was good. Love is...when you fall asleep in the last position, wake up and wonder if he wants breakfast, because its always excellent. Lust is looking at the actual motion of the body-- starng at the motion of the hips... Love is not being able to take your eyes off their face. Lust wonders if you gave it up too soon, Love wonders why it took so long. Theres quite a difference. I could go on all night. Literally! If you really love someone, it doesn't matter how they "perform".
Anyway... for me, love isn't that cushy, huggy, stars in the eyes feeling - to me that's lust and lust and love are two very different things, which, often times, are mistaken for one another. It's just a matter of knowing. Love is there when it doesn't take effort, when it doesn't take doing this or doing that... it's just there. And, I feel that you can love someone with all your heart but not work well with that person in a relationship.
