Which cities have you lived in? Despite having been to a crazy amount of countries I just realized that I've only actually lived in two different cities; Stockholm and Vancouver.
Which cities have you lived in (only six months or longer counts as "lived")? How would you rank them and why? What made you move away from those you no longer live in? Which cities have you always wanted to live in but not yet got around to actually moving to? Just curious... Edit: added question [Edited 7/2/05 7:37am]

Tucson, Arizona
Phoenix, Arizona I don't like cities... and I had hoped to move to a smaller town. Now, I have an awesome job with dream come true possibilities and it is smack dab in the middle of craziness. If anything... I will move to the outskirts, buy some land, have a home built..., enough to keep close neighbors away at a fair distance.

In and around lovely Cleveland, Ohio, is the only region I've lived in... but I'm hoping to change that soon.
In my mind, though, I've lived everywhere: San Fran, Boston, Paris and London mostly. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Fargo, North Dakota
New York, New York Moorhead, Minnesota St. Paul, Minnesota Fargo is where I was born and I lived there until I was about 24. New York was the most exciting and wonderful placed I've lived. St. Paul is nice but extenuating circumstances make it not so nice, but I'm sure I'd really love it around here if I could take full advantage of all this area has to offer.

I lived there from 1979-1982, Kindergarten, First, and half of Second grade. I was a child but I remember a lot and I loved it. CynthiasSocks said: Oh- and there are just as many young Japanese women trying to pick up American soldiers too! I believe you. I don't like it though, since it's basically a fantasy that both fall in love with (the handsome, masculine westerner and the swooning, innocent exotic beauty respectively) and not the actual person. There are exceptions of course, but I've seen a lot of what I just described.

Are you thinking of moving back to your old neighbourhood? I'm actually pretty happy where I am. It's the youthful crazy-behavior memories attached to the cities that are in front. Hopefully, i've matured a great deal since then. The neighborhoods where I lived in Brooklyn have changed radically. But I periodically miss the energy and vibe of NYC. Really glad I grew up there. If I was extremely wealthy, i'd love to have a place in the city. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
