I have missed the last few years- the last casts I really followed were Chicago & Vegas. I did not watch the Paris cast, because I thought there would be too much of that "ugly american" thing & I could not bear to watch that unfold (from what I saw/heard, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I don't watch much tv these days anyway, so I don't know when the new casts start. I only know about the new Austin group - today - because of this thread..


overall, the "real world" is a "harmless" enough diversion.. I think it's easy to get "sucked in" to a certain cast. the show does tend to bring in "stereotypes" for the show, but often it's interesting enough to see how these different personalities & "stereotypes" play out in their (version) of "the real world"..

Great thread idea! Love "The Real World", and yes, it does take place in Austin, Texas this time. Will definitely be tuning in to watch it.

Have to agree with Coral as being the biggest bitch. That girl is just plain nasty; don't think I could stand being in the room for more than just 2 minutes with her, seriously.
