It's funny..I didn't get into them and so they didn't influence my music that much. But I did listen to others that were. Now when I listen to it I hear some of Kraft-werky stuff coming through. But only in retrospect. In the Mushroom, I'd say is Kraftwerky A lot of it is influence from the psy-chill stuff I have been listening too over the past few years...thoguh I can't put my finger on anything concrete. The oldest songs are Release and Outer Limits...and those are trance influenced...as the later is really a trance song slowed down. I tried to create what I was hearing and ended up with something that sounds like nothing else.And none of the songs sound the same either.  WAIT I do know that Funky Mandela was influenced greatly by Baby Mammoth, which is a jazz/breakbeat/electronic band...similar to Plaid and Boards of Canada.
Most of them I attribute to the influence of my 2 Cats...Natasha and Camille. Christian Zombie Vampires | |
