Wait, are you being serious?? I'd say LA and Vegas are the most american cities you could come by. I've never been to Miami, so I couldn't pass judgement on that one...

Portland, OR!

I'm about to move there!

Seriously, it's known to be one of the most "livable" cities in the US and it is not like a lot of other US cities.

There's nothing much "European" about it, except that there is not a lot of heavy traffic and it is a very "progressive" city in terms of environmental concerns and ways of thinking.

And it's GREAT for anything to do with MUSIC.

lol

i don't fancy the sound of NY, i hear it's like London, and i don't like London, especially the people wink

Hmmmmm.... Cooler weather would be Seattle.... What part of Europe are you from?

I agree with Shy... Major cities will be your most diverse and best bet. The Bay area of California also has cool weather most of the time.

Europe is nothing like America. THey are both amazing and different!

Very European cities include:

Birmingham, Alabama (very much like Birmingham in the UK)

Orlando, Florida (home of Disney world which has a castle in it alot like Germany)

and ofcourse, Key West Florida, which has a very slow pace of life, and a gross national product equally most of Europe's. nod

I live in Portland, and it was designed with european cities in mind, apparently. It has a european-style transit system (train, streetcar) and is very walkable and bikeable, right on the river and surrounded by forest, very pretty. It's kind of turning into a little san-fran because of all the cali money moving up here, but is still much more affordable. We like to tell everyone that it rains here though so that they'll stay away. It DOES rain, really! And the job market is crap. But it is very liberal, tolerant and actually has more diversity of people than you'd think. You gotta live in the city for that and not the suburbs, though, like most places.

Seattle (my hometown) or San Fran are gonna be your best bets. thumbs up!

All cities have their own vibe, of course, but those two are most Euro-flavored, methinks.

I adore Seattle. Smart, liberal, funky, beautiful, and the weather is perfection.

We don't get a lot of rain. We get a little rain on a lot of days. New York gets more rain than Seattle. smile

I like Portland too. A bit better on the public transit than Seattle, methinks. But I don't think the surrounding area is quite as nice. . . Portland is such an island. On the other hand, they have Powells. . . hmmm

It rains all the time in Seattle.

And just because you look Arab doesn't mean you're going to have a hard time here. Not all American's are assholes like most people think.

I would say go to San Diego or San Fran, or New England area. Just my opinion.
