I got tired from studying and went rollerblading. When I came back I found my cat playing with a dead mouse. That was really fun to watch, with all the flips and turns it was like a James Bond scene. And then she suddenly got tired of the mouse and went to something else. I thought Wow Capi had a lucky day and came closer to see what it wasIt was a little birdie! And alive too! So I figured Capi had the mouse already i'm not gonna let her have the little birdie. So I took Tici (yep he already has a name ) and put it in a shoe box. It was too slippery for it so I put some dirt in it. Tici is in that box now but it's really scared. I hope he makes it through the night. Now - if he does, what am I supposed to do with it? I don't know the first thing about birds. Please, give me some advice on this one. I know this is prince.org not mensa.org but it's also abird and not grammar.

Well, that's part of nature, unfortunatly. natural food chain, so to speak.

But maybe keep it until it heals, give it some worms to eat, and set it free when it's completely healed.

What abot seed... I have some cereals.
And I think it's getting hungry, it's spreading his mouth widely.

Do you think it would it a spider? Birds eat bugs right? I'd feed it with tweezers.

I've been surfing the net too and I read I should feed it with boiled eggs. That's easier than searching for worms IMO.

The birdie made it through the night!
It was very hungry, opening its little mothh widely, I fed him with boiled eggs. Then I made a "makeshift" nest out of toilet paper and dirt. I heard another birdie on our attic so I put the first one in my "nest" and took it to the attic.There was a little bird identical to the firt one but no nest. I put them both in my toilet-paper nest and put the nest somewhere accesible. I hope they are gonna be alright.
