They're small alright but they're also hungry. Constantly!
I hope their mother finds them soon. =)

I hope their mother finds them soon. Please hun, look up if there is an bird center around, call the vet-line, I am sure there is one and ask for people looking after birds.

I think the oringinal nest was in our attic somewhere... There are bird nests up there every season.
I'm afraid I found the nest on the ground last night, along with the birdie. However, they have a new, improvised nest and sometimes I have a feeling I can hear their mother . Huey, today is a national holiday in Slovenia and everything is closed I'm afraid. =)

What abot seed... I have some cereals. And I think it's getting hungry, it's spreading his mouth widely. Do you think it would it a spider? Birds eat bugs right? I'd feed it with tweezers. if you have a large syringe to use (you can buy them at pet stores) that would be great for feeding the baby bird. otherwise a spoon will work when feeding the following mix to the baby birdie: make a watery paste out of bread, water, and gerber baby food (strained peas and/or strained corn) then gently tip some into the open birdie beak, little by little. pet stores sell hand-feeding formula for baby birds. it's made especially for this purpose. the very best thing you caould do would be to find tici's original nest and put him/her back inside the nest. the parent bird will not reject tici even though you've handled him/her if tici is fully fledged - has all his/her feathers - it's best to let tici go. otherwise wait until tici has all flying feathers before releasing him/her good luck!
