Grammar - please help

I'm studying for my English Verb 1 exam on monday and I have some difficulties with a few excercises. So Native English Speakers please help! And if possible, native British-English speakers. biggrin

Is the verb durative, non stative / durative, stative / terminative, non-stative / terminative, stative ?

The ice melted.

They will receive their awards at a ceremony in Madrid.

Do the underlined verbs present examples of: the mandative present subjunctive / the formulaic present subjunctive / the past subjunctive / the modal past tense / a normal use od indicative mood ?

Mrs Sheepshanks wished everyone curtisied.

It was as if he wanted to pick a quarrel.

Have a look at the sentences expressing different types of mood in English. State wether they are acceptable (+) or not (-). Justify your answer.

It's time he were back.

He was put in a cell with no clothes and shoes lest he injure himself.

They removed the prisoner in order that he not disturb the proceedings any further.

Now pleaaaaase, help the poor girl!!! biggrin

Conversational English has little to do with grammar, especially where I come from. As such, I find it near to impossible to provide you with a good answer. Even though I made a 35 on the English section of the ACT and shite like that.

"It's time he were back" looks completely wrong, but you know what? Fuck it, just cos it sounds wrong when I say it doesn't mean it is.

2the9s, where art thou when someone needs Engrish help?
Insatiable taught me everything I know about balls.
