I can't say I'd exclude him from the dating pool solely on his wig-wearing alone. I'd say it depends on the guy. And the wig. But all in all, I don't think there's anything wrong with losing your hair gracefully. Bald can be sexy. what about this?

If the guy was intelligent, a good person, interesting, cared about me and we had a good time together, why wouldn't I? If the wig is a decent one and makes him feel better about himself, well..I just don't see the big deal. I certainly wouldn't discount a person just because they have some fake hair sitting on top of their head.
Women wear fake hair all the time. Or fake eyelashes. Or fake nails. And of course, fake tits. Or wear makeup. What's the difference between all that stuff and if some guy feels bad he's balding on top and feels better by wearing a rug? Sure it'd be great if he felt good about being bald, but not everyone does, just as some women who think their bust is too small "feel better about themselves" by getting a boob job.

If the guy were wearing a wig because, say, he prematurely lost his hair naturally or due to treatment for some illness, I don't see the big deal. I think the person is ultimately more important than the wig. I'd probably be more compatible with him, though, if he were the type who just needed a bit of love and support to convince him he was good enough to eventually take the wig off. Bald is often very hot.
Now, a wig on a guy as a mere fashion statement probably suggests he and I wouldn't be compatible in several other areas. I don't do Zoolanders. [Edited 6/26/05 10:52am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

This reminds me: Did you guys see the episode of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy where the crew had to convince a young lawyer to take off his toupee and go bald? If I recall correctly, he was driven to tears -- as was his family, because no one, not even his wife, had ever seen him without the fake hair. He was THAT psychologically effected by his early hair loss. Just goes to show that men's self-worth are also effected by these sort of things to great degrees.
Anyway, when he took the wig off and shave his head, he was SOOO hot. His wife and kids loved it! And he immediately seemed far more comfortable and confident. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

If women find a guy being bald hot then why do you rarely see balding guys with hot looking women? Most women like hair on a guys head. The guy should not wear a wig. Get plugs. They are very realistic these days. More and more male celebrities do that.
