Perhaps this is rather a weird question, but I've always been
trying to keep a journal and everytime I tried, I failed less
than a week into the process. Mainly because I find it very,
very hard to put my feelings and experiences into words (well
apart from poetry).

Just writing stuff down, chronologically, event after event,
is something I just don't seem to be able to do.

However, what I do find to be a great relief and a way to let
some of my feelings vent is by drawing and painting.

I know I shouldn't do this right now and I know you're all
gonna have a field day laughing at my childlike drawings and
paintings (I prefer to call them naive hehehe) but it's just
my way of luring the rest of you onto this thread and trying
to get you to post YOUR artwork, stuff like drawings, photo
or collage material and so on.

My fav passtime since a few weeks is keeping a diary by
means of drawing a picture in a notebook every couple of
days. A diary without words, so to speak.

And these two are a couple of paintings I did some time ago.
They're naive, I know. And they probably look like cartoons
a bit too damn much hehehe. But they were my first attempt
at actually painting with real paint and brushes onto large
(about 100x50cm) canvas.
They might not look like all that much, but they allowed me
to put so much of my emotional distress into making them,
that they signify much more than what they picture. Still, I
doubt I'll ever grant them a place on any of my walls. Well
perhaps on the toilet lol.

i suppose in a way they're like semiverbal diaries...i write what i feel...and the best part is, people don't usually think 2 read them, so they never know if i'm talking about them or not...i'm currently working on another one...i feel so bad cuz i started it in April and it's still not done (they usually take me up 2 2weeks 2 finish) but i've been sooo busy, and my boredom has been nonexistant...so perhaps once i'm done my studies i can go ahead and continue...i'll think about posting it..
