As for "cheating mentally", I'm not sure what that means. I think it's unrealistic to think anyone, man or woman, doesn't fantasize about other people. But fantasies are just that, fantasy. It's whether you act on them or not that counts. (Not to mention, just cause you appreciate someone as a person, doesn't mean you want to bone them...)
Then, there's falling in love with someone other than your partner (with no physical involvement), and may be what azurestarr was referring to as "mental" cheating, but I'm not sure what I'd call it. And in a way that's cheating of the highest order, and in another way, you could say it's not cheating at all. The heart does what it wants, we can't always help who we fall in love with. It's a matter of how we handle it from there...

It aint even that men cheat more obviously than women, its just that people sleep around for different reasons, and they choose different kinds of people.

I think that men look for the fastest, most easily reached piece of ass they can get, which is sometimes more obvious if you really watch them in their interactions with women.

Women cheat with more fervor, more passion, usually as personal payback. They usually are more discreet, except when they want the guy to be humiliated.
But i'll say that it'll be much less obvious, much harder to detect when watching a girl interact her sidepiece.
