Corporate F'ing America My sister works for a huge insurance company - Liberty Mutual.
She told me that to commemorate the fact that the company had a billion dollar profit last year, they gave all of the employees a Globe paperweight for their desk. One of the employees sold his on Ebay for $34.00 and the company is firing him! Do you believe that shit??? Rather than give the employees the $50.00 it probably took to make and package and mail and disburse the stupid shit, they give them these cheesy pieces of crap for their desk.....
