A woman at work told me I remind her of a cross between Crispin Glover and Vincent Gallo in Buffalo 66. I've never been simultaneously flattered and insulted in quite that way before.

Did poorly at the box office, gained a hell of a life on home vid. Yup, it's a cult film.

Especially if Blade Runner and Terminator are cult films. lol

Blade runer and Terminator are not cult films....When I went to see Terminator the theater was fucking packed. Harrison ford/Ridley Scott...not cult....

shrug Terminator did so-so business at the box office. It wasn't until HBO and home video that it took off. That's part of the reason the sequel was so far off. And Blade Runner had a huge budget for its time, roughly $30 million if I recall correctly. It did not make its money back in theatres. It built its audience in people's homes, not in the cinemas.

That's a bomb, not a cult movie.

And Terminator did $34M at the B.O. in '84 - quite good.

I didn't realize Terminator made that much in the theatre. And, yes, I know not doing well in the theatre makes a film a bomb hammer Many cult films bombed in the theatre.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space and Motel Hell - both cult horror. There's a lot of cult horror I like.

I merely downloaded the best part biggrin

Chloe's a very nasty girl. And the dialogue during that scene is absolutely hilarious. Gallo has a little girl voice. Too bad he didn't convince Xtina Ricci to do the same thing in Buffalo 66.

I'll grant you Terminator. I was under the impression it didn't do well in theatres, and didn't do my research. But I stand by my assertion that Blade Runner is a cult film. One of the best Web film resources, filmsite.org, backs me up on this one. biggrin

Anybody who had HBO in the 80's knows that the movie they played the most was
Club Paradise with Robin Williams. I mean every fucking day that movie was on
lol
A HbO movie that I'll give lilgish cult status is Space Camp
