How goes it? Talk to me. Whats your state of mind? How is life treating you?
I am presently working on a rather ambitious project. I am bringing together all my photos onto one external hard drive ... cleaning them up and marking them by year for memories sake.....

Went south yesterday to mix an album.
It was pretty much a huge challenge, since I've never heard the maerial, and it was recorded poorly, but I managed to mix it in 12 hours. so I ended up riding back home at 2am (1 1/2 hours drive each way). But it's more money towards LA, so I'm happy. I got 6 job/project offers in less than 2 months. None of them were things I applied for, but people hearing about me and requesting me. It feels great to be wanted. I should also probably start organizing all the photos in my computer. And then all the music. Good idea, Karen

it was an odd day. an uneasy muggy calm presided during the morning and early afternoon. then the sky turned purple/black about 3:30 pm and the heavens sent forth rain, thunder and lightning. right now it's a storm-aftermath kind of feel .. some sort of static energy in the air and the smell of ozone still lingering..

I am working on my Pechangan native American photos. I was at a pow wow a few years back. Once the sacred ceremony starts photography is not permitted..... I was permited as I was with the head family. Even then I drew sharp looks from some elders. I captured some amazing moments. My only regret is that I did so with a 1/2 assed camera.

I'm feelin good. Thank you for asking!
Honestly life hasn't been sogood the last couple of months. Family stress, job stress, worries over money... a whole lot of fear has been livng inside me....BUT the past few days I feel as if I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Today I was removing student work from the walls of my classroom and OUT OF NO WHERE this HUGE butterfly flew out from under the papers...seriously there was NO WAY this butterfly could have just flown in or been hiding there without anyone noticing, this butterfly just magically appeared! So, I'll take it as a sign that there is something good going on behind the scenes and that things will be much better very soon. Plus I've decided that I'm going to take this summer to make some changes in my life that have been a LONG time coming. So Muse, life is treating me good, it always does even if we don't understandthe route it's taking to get us to the next level. and How are you doing? In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

You are beautiful and oh so very right! Do remember it always darkest right before the light. Hang in there it would be a shame to miss the light to come wrapped up in the dark moment.... I would bet you are that butterfly..... Time to shed that cacoon that can no longer hold you my friend!
