Have you ever watched any of the European leagues? Check out the English Premiership and La Liga in Spain "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

Check out the English Premiership and La Liga in Spain A couple years ago when I had AT&T broadband, I got to see games from leagues everywhere. FA PRemier League, Argentinian, etc. These days I get to see the Mexican league on the Spanish channels(overrated and not that fun to watch IMO), and sometimes a World Cup Qualifying game. The cool thing about MLS is that the games can be watched live online. Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.

The damn emoticon is still called "soccer" though. I was watching a football game on tv here in Canada quite recently and the Canadian commentators kept saying "...so football, uh, I mean soccer...".

The cool thing about MLS is that the games can be watched live online. Seriously man, if you're becoming quite keen on the beautiful game Italian football, Serie A, is top notch stuff too but some people (mainly overseas/non-Italian fans) find the general pace of their game too slow. That's a crude consensus really because the Italian game has more tactical play in the middle of the park but as a whole, is also littered with skilly skills and star players too. The thing about S.A. (club) football is that the play/possession is broken up a lot more as the players there seem to have a bolder and more cavalier approach to their games, and as you can imagine, it's doesn't always come off! However, that's not to say that the S.A. lads aren't as gifted as their European counterparts. That region has an abundance of the elements that make the game SO beautiful Keep with the "true" football, Doc "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

I don't really do favorites much. I used to be really into Landon Donovan, but then he betrayed us, so I don't care about him anymore. The number of cool players abroad is too much to choose from. This was a loss for us at the time because of lot of good US players left MLS to play abroad around that time. Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.

looks like Real Madrid's coming to the US this summer to pay the LA Galaxy in a friendly. They'll also play Chivas in Chicago(the real Chivas)/
AC Milan will also challenge the Chicago Fire and Chelsea will play DC United in July. Should be some awesome games to watch. Too bad I don't live in any of those cities. http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS...&fext=.jsp [Edited 6/23/05 18:02pm] [Edited 6/23/05 18:04pm] Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.
