What I mean is do you get as much as you give.
Do you give alot and get a little or visa versa.

Things have been out of balance for me for the last 6 or 7 months

I feel drained. I've been trying to regain it like Mach says but it doeesn't seemed to be working right now.

Sometimes the "getting" can be very delayed, but I basically feel that goodness has a boomerang effect in this life.

For me sometimes its like walking a tightrope
I'm not fully balanced as what i would like to be
I'm swaying in the wind
Damn just another issue to work on

Oh I get so very much from people. If this is what determines wealth then I am an incredibly rich and blessed woman! Although I never feel it is enough I suppose I give much of myself.

I do believe you get what you give in this life. I am honored to be alive. Life is so wonderful.

I LOVE balance...i SEEK it wherever I canz. I have my own idea of juuuust right but da challenge in dat is- not everybody else agrees wif dat.

ANd balance in as far as giving and getting? Well, I try and give without expecting anything in return- dat way less dissapointment in all facetz of life- yeah yeah? Itz not easy though. I fink i will just keep giving even when i don't recieve- itz just my nature and probably partially due 2 my upbringingz

I give and get from my family quite equally.
As for friends...I feel that I get more than I give.
I barely have time for friendships but I have a few lovely people in my life who won't let me forget them. Thank God.

I give more than I get. Sometimes it rather annoys me, but then I think, "Wow, I did something really nice for that person," and sometimes that can be far better than getting anything at all in return. I'm learning not to do things with the expectation of getting any thing back.

I wish it were but it's not.
I am the rock that so many lean on but I have no rock to lean against.
I have people who I love and love me in return and for this I am pleased, blessed and thankful. Yet I need to find a happiness that seems out of reach right now.

You're right. Giving without expectation/desire of anything in return is the way to avoid dissapointment/suffering. Most of the time I can handle the fact that in most of my relationships I give. . . or at least offer. . . more than I get. But every once in a while I have a moment of. . . dunno. . . self pity? Or something? Where I feel that lack of balance and it hurts me.
