Survey: What do you pay for cable TV?

I would like to conduct a suvey to find out how much some of you pay for cable TV.
I would like to know:

1.) what state you live in
2.) what cable package
3.) what price per month

I am wondering because ours just went from $59.73 to $84.68.
We live in Florida and have basic with HBO/Showtime

I contacted our cable company to see what could be done to lower it back down to our introductory rate, the best they could do was take it down to $71.62.
Friends of ours have the same cable co. but live a little south of us and they pay $39.99. We live in an area that just got digital cable & the only competition is satellite. Our friends live in an area where there is a few different cable companies to pick from.
It makes no sense, our area has fewer jobs and the wages are less but we pay more for our telephone & cable.

They did offer us a package deal with phone, cable & internet for $160, my husband said no thanks!
So, I guess I will be saying goodbye to cable soon.

I would like to seduce a monkey to find out how much some of you pay for cabbage TV.
I would like to know:

1.) what prison you live in
2.) what cabbage package
3.) what number of days per month are there in February?

I am wondering because ours just went from $591.73 to $8.68.
We live in a small hole and have basic instincts with HOBO Showreels

I caressed our cable company to see what could be done to lever my back down to our Mom's house, the best they could do was take it down to $0.62.
Fiends of ours have the same cabbage co. but live a little lie just to the left of us and they pay a few yen. We operate a reign of terror in an area that just got digital watches & the only competition is an indoor volleyball tournament. Our fiends kill people in an area where there is one different cabbage companies to pick from.
It makes no home-made bread, our area has dangerous jobs and the wages are paid in eggs but we pay more for our teleportation & cabbages.

They did offer us a packed lunch with phobias, cabbages & international playboys for $1.60, my local ironmonger said no thanks!
So, I guess I will be saying goodbye to love soon.

This was a really cheap shot at humour for which I apologise.

After taxes and all the other goofy tacked on fees, I pay about $106 per month. But that includes the following...

Cable
+200 digital channels
HBO
HBO On Demand
Several other On Demand channels
High Speed Internet
Digital Video Recorder
Wireless Modem/Router

I'm with Time Warner, in Northeast Ohio.

I will give them some props tho, their service is incredible. Anytime I have a problem, a real person that speaks clear english, will answer within a minute or two, and if need be, they will send someone to my place within a day or two to fix the issue. Also, I saved some money on Wireless because of them. They brought me all the equipment to go wireless for only 29.95. If I would have bought the Wireless Router, and Wireless Cards for all my computers, I would have easliy spend well over $100-$150.

I have:

All digital Premiums (HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax, The Movie Channel), HD, DVR (Tivo), HSI (internet), Digital Voice (phone). I have Comcast and I pay $36 a month.

By the way I work for the company, needless to say I love those fringe benefits!!!

Here in Vancouver I've paid $26 per month (and that's Canadian dollars) for cable TV and around $30 for broadband Internet. And when it comes to phone, local calls are free. Compared to what I'm used to, that is a ridiculously good deal. And then I discovered that I could call anyone anywhere for free as long as they download the free software Skype. These advances in technology and prices make me feel old...but I'm sure as hell not complaining.
