Ok, so I didn't go out for a meal with the wife in the end. Instead, she's in front of the telly watching Scooby Doo 2 and I'm here with a couple of bottles of beer.

I have a video recorder, but it's broken, and I've no blank tapes anyway. I've never used it to record, only to watch RaveUn2TheYear2000 and Stevie's classic album video for Songs In The Key Of Life.

Now my brother in law is thinking of coming over for a few more beers. The wife is not happy. Her sister and this guy are in the process of splitting up so he's not flavour of the month around here right now.

good morning steadwood! it's a fresh, lovely, sunny day here in minneapolis (for the first time in approx six weeks it's not raining - although the day is young yet).

i'm doing household chores like rounding up the enormous dust bunnies under the sofa. later i'll likely run some errands.
