Natisse, we've never spoken, but for me you are a genuinely good person and although leaving this wee pretend reality where everyone hides behind personas is obviously the mentally healthy thing to do, the resentment the absolute loss will leave may well grow and leave you even more bitter - and I loathe seeing good people beaten down and abused so much that they feel they have no choice but to join the bastards.
For what it's worth, I say ride it out and see if things get better. The site wouldn't be the same without you.

OK, it took me some thinking before I say this....

Nat, I am pretty much sure that you are an honest and genuine person but why do you post this? To me it seems that you need a thread like this so you can see whether people care for you or not. It's a self-fullfilling prophecy for you, you know you are not leaving! You just want the sweet and meaningless comments of the people of whom must you only know online.....
The story you posted is maybe an indicator that you should go out more and be among people. Here you are, an australian girl on her trip of a lifetime to Europe, and what do you do? Sit behind your computer and talk to your 'friends' on the org..... Really, I am pretty much sure that 99% of the people here couldn't care less whether you stay or not.....If someone tells you 'it's not org-time' (I admit, it's a stupid way of speak), it probably means that this person has something else to do. You can not expect that everybody is there for you whenever you come crushing in on e-mail, IM or whatever.....And maybe so should you.....
