This over the top dress inspired by Versace was donated to the Robert Tonner company.
The dress, fur coat, earrings and shoes were all crafted by Drew and auctioned for charity in a wardrobe truck.
The trunk sold for $12,000 and is now on display in a museum (somewhere) in Florida.
The dress is made of hand pleated silk, the beading is also done by hand over net.
The fur coat is made of ermine and is lined and labled "DREW." He lables all of his designs which adds to the magic!
The shoes are made of silk and leather with pearl drops.








Sir Charles James dress is made of gold ribbon sown together to make fabric and peach silk.
The James original gown, a vintage design from the 1950s, is pictured on the right.


The dress was designed for a friend, this picture won first prize in a magazine photo contest.
The background is not paint- it's lighting and scrims.

The background in the "Mommie" photo is... are you ready for this... the inside of a doll truck THAT HE MADE from foam-core, covered in faux alligator vinyl, the inside is lined in peach silk moiré! He doesn't do houses, but ours is really beautiful. He started collecting Art Deco pieces in the 1970s when no one in our area wanted them and were throwing them out. The inside of your house looks like something from an old 1930s Hollywood movie. Chrome and lighted alabaster smoking stands, chrome and walnut club chairs and sofas, burled walnut deco furniture- bar, china, wardrodes. All the art work and accessories are also peroid deco. He's got too much style for one person!
