Krispy Kreme - Just can't resist So I was introduced to Krispy Kreme doughnuts when their UK factory opened in Hampshire and they were trying out the stuff before going live in I believe the only UK outlet, Harrods in London. Well I had about 3 of these things in a row and just couldn't believe out light and lush they were. Now more shops have opened up and we just visited the one in New Malden (just outside London) - this place reminds me of the Wonka factory (minus the small fat man - excluding the customers!) so many doughnuts travelling on the production line looking so lovely. So I buy 12 hand picked, but can't resist and buy another one while I am waiting (all of 20 secs). Now they are sitting on my desk calling to me but I am trying to keep them for my b-b-q tonight with 3 friends and the wife.
Anybody else a fan? The shop is themed like so 1950s dinner very nice indeed - could spend a lot of time and consume a lot of calories in there.

Well, you guys are finally being corrupted by Krispy Krems Doughnuts all I can tell you is this. Whatever you do is don't be the pre-packaged from the grocery store/supermarket, remember to always buy them fresh from the doughnut shop when they just make them w/out perservatives. Once you get hooked, they can become addictive. [Edited 6/17/05 10:35am]

I'm a scrawny chick, but if there's one thing in the world that could make me a big fat ass, it'd be my love of Krispy Kremes.
I once worked in the university medical center, and I had an office, directly next to a Shell gas station, whcih got fresh Krispy Kremes every morning. So, each morning I'd stop at the Starbucks down the street, get a tazo tea of some sorts, then I'd walk to the Shell station, load up on jelly-filled Krispy Kremes and a chocolate iced, cream filled one for my coworker Chrissy, and we'd pig out. It was all good, until one day when I dropped some jelly filling on my dress pants . But that didn't stop me... for long. Insatiable taught me everything I know about balls.
