Dear Comcast: Thanks for the free crappy mp3 player...

Now when all my friends are rocking out with their cool iPods, I can stand out even more as a big douche with this worthless piece of crap:

I LOOOOOVE THE CREATIVE LABS NOMAD players.

It's not meant to compete with ipods--Creative labs has hard drive models that do that.

This is a flash card version that competes with the Ipod Shuffle and other flash card versions---perfect for the gym. Plus this stores files, mp3, .mwv, has a radio, and a voice recorder that you can configure to record to .wav, .mp3, or .wmv.

It's an awesome litle player.

128 megs isn't alot of memory though.

But it's more than enough music for a couple of hours and this thing is the best player to take to the gym.

i heart my creative zen micro. small enough to carry around, and cuter than the ipods.

but ever since i had to reload windows on my laptop, it won't recognize the player when i plug it in. sad

i have a nomad, but it's not one of those little thingies. it's like the size of a pocket calculator from the 80s. but it has tons of GB and it was cheap and it hasn't even thought about crapping out on me yet. iPods are pretty. that's about all i can say for 'em.

They all have radio's you dork!!!!!

OK.
That little lever that lets you select your songs (the one that toggles up or down). Instead toggling it up or down, push down on the button.

It will bring you to a menu that lets you select modes, configurations, recording, and radio.

Oh, and the wire for the left earpiece is literally 1/3 the length of the wire for the right earpiece. I'm not kidding. And, since it's free, I don't think I can really get a new set of headphones....not a big deal, but still annoying that they can't even provide me with a useable set of headphones... Thanks again, Comcast! thumbs up!

that sucks.
Some models come with a belkin wireless FM transmitter. You can basically play all your songs on your card stereo as if if your player was a transmitting radio station.
