I've been drinking a glass a night for about a year.
My personal favorites are put out by Yellow Tail. Relatively inexpensive, yet quite good. The Merlot is my favorite. Ecco Domani Sangiovese is nice. Insatiable taught me everything I know about balls.

I like all of the Yellow Tails, and the Ecco Domanis. Rosemount Shiraz is one of my favs. I have 2-3 drinks a day. Wine or cerveza. I really oughtta cut back. My blood pressure is up, and I've gained my pounds than I care to squeeze into my jeans. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

A glass of red wine is supposed to be wonderful for you.
Chilean wine is supposed to be exceptionally high in the antioxidants (or whatever) that help protect you against cancer and stuff. I once had some kind of plum saki at a Korean restaurant, and it was AMAZING! Subsequently, I bought a bottle of "Fu-Ki" plum wine at my local liquor store, and it was GROSS! I have to go back to that restaurant and buy a couple of bottles! By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

Rosemount Estate Shiraz or Merlot.
I also like Wyndham's red wines. I wonder if they have a BIN 777. I never get to drink wine these days though.

beaujolais nouveau is a really nice wine. it's really fruity and bold and it's one of the few red wines that doesn't leave me feeling blearghy when i wake up in the morning (something i'm pretty sensitive to, even if i've only had a glass or two). PLUS, you can always find it pretty cheap.

I don't like wine I hardly ever drink, maybe half a beer on the weekend. Cheap date!

is that wine talk for snotty? or headachey? you can always find it pretty cheap.
2-buck Chuck at Trader Joe's is a great bargain -- $1.99 for a decent wine. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Usually have spend around 5 pounds and up for a decent bottle of wine. Trouble is, that same bottle here costs around 9 pounds. A bottle of Rosemount Estate Shiraz was 7 pounds 49p last time I was in the UK. Here it's around 13 pounds (roughly $24).

Weeks... can pass... and I don't even think about a drink. Although I always have some ready for when I do.
Usually when I do... it is one to two drinks when at home. If I am out... it might be three/four. I don't drink to get drunk.

Jacob's Creek Chardonnay is like the industry standard for entertaining guests. Inexpensive, hard to dislike, smooth and slightly nutty. A perfect middle of the road choice. Not particularly inspired, but likeable. It's the Norah Jones of wine.

By the way...I can tolerate Arbor Mist, it tastes almost like Kool-aid and it is way inexpensive. Try Sangria Zinfandel, it is fruity good.

Nearly every wine mentioned in this thread is an Australian wine!!!
Good to see you people have good taste as we do make some of the best wine on earth. I drink on average 3 glasses of wine a day. It's only one more than recommended so that cant be too bad can it? When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Arbor Mist! Charles Shaw! (I kid, I kid) HEY!!! There's nothing wrong with Charles Shaw!!! And I never had Arbor Mist until I met Julie. Not bad in a Kool-Aid kinda way. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

And I never had Arbor Mist until I met Julie. Not bad in a Kool-Aid kinda way. BARF! I can't drink 2 buck Chuck. It's so harsh! Usually I will go to Trader Joe's and pick up whatever is on sale. For a couple of bucks, I usually come out with some not-bad wine - and some of it is damn good! Tonight I will be drinking old Beck's out of an old keg and some Captain Morgan and Coke that was left on top of the fridge! I mean, like, where is the sun?

Natsume is out of replies and asked me to clarify:
Charles Shaw is actually her FAVORITE wine, but she's embarrassed to admit that because it's so damn cheap! Silly girl! Y'all give her a hug! Ain't she cute??? noituloveryxesevolasildnaydnew
