Raw fish? I don't think so.

You're going to be rather sick soon.

It depends on what sushi you ate. If it was cooked, no problem. If it was sashimi - with raw fish, as gooey said - I'd be, uh, careful.

Once I ate half a burrito that I had left out on my floor for eight hours. It had chicken inside. I didn't get sick. smile

You know, I think people are sometimes a little too concerned about that kinda thing... It WAS cooked (at one time) and 8 hours isn't all that long. And it's not like it was full of mayo and sitting outside on a hot sunny day. lol. I wouldn't make a practice out of it, but once in a while, you'll probably be ok. biggrin

yes! I think my mom instilled a real fear of that kind of stuff in me. As a kid, I couldn't eat ANYTHING with raw egg in it because she was so deathly afraid of salmonella.

by the way, mayo on a hot sunny day... drool3

If food (cooked meat products) was left sitting out then it wouldn't be a great idea to eat it but if it was in the fridge overnight then I wouldn't worry too much.

Raw fish as in sushi might cause a little more concern since there may be some bacteria and viruses present that have not been destroyed by cooking processes. I wouldn't recommend eating raw fish that had been left out overnight. It might get kinda messy eek
