What exciting things are happening in your life?

My life has been in a funk for a while now and today especially....I am feeling a little blue sad Being an optimistic person by nature...I have to try and find the silver lining in things and so I my contribution to this thread is this....

Although most of you probably will not find this too interesting OR exciting, I have just been accepted in to a new and exciting college program for Emergency Management. Basically, when there is a terrorist attack or some kind of disaster, there is a guy who coordinates the efforts and resources to resolve it....that'd be me!

So tell me...what exciting things are happening in your world....I need a smile so make them good people! nod

I used to be in the British Army and we used to do these mock Emergency scenarios, like car crashes or fires/bombs. It was really realistic and you had to keep your wits about you.

This isn't exciting, but I'm going to the college library to recearch the origins of modern civilization in India..I am doing a narrative essay on being a 41 year old male in that country at that point in time. It's not exciting just ineresting..Then hitting the Lost Cove trial for a nice moderate hike. Great day for it.
