I tried basketball but was too small and thin. I tried cross country but the soles of my feet couldn't handle it after a while. I tried football but pulled both of my achilles tendons a week or two into the season.

So I became the photographer for the school paper and got in free to all the sports events without having to be in them or having to pay. razz

athletics (200m sprint was my strongest) and swimming. I was useless at any sport which involved a ball - I just ducked if it came flying towards me!

Principal sports which I played competitively (i.e school/county) were:

- rugby
- football
- athletics (relay, triple jump and (ugh) the hurdles)
- chess shhh

Others:

- tennis
- table tennis
- basketball
