I've written enough material for 5 or 6 small films. I've also written song lyrics in the past, but for this questionnaire I'll concentrate on the films.

So far they've all been Star Wars parodies.

Umm...I think I just answered that.

What genre would you say you fit best into?
Comedy

Have you ever tried to get published?
I've made one film already, and I'm hoping to shoot my second this summer or fall. I've sent the first to a couple of contests so far.

Were you successful?
Not as well as I'd like to have been. I submitted the film to AtomFilms.com for their Star Wars Fan Film contest, but I think I violated too many copyright instances for it to be considered.

What do you hope to do with your work?
Well, I'd like to be recognized with an award someday by the Star Wars community, but just knowing I'm giving other people enjoyment is a reward in itself.

And finally, the big one -
Why do you write?
To have fun and to also put smiles on other peoples' faces.

What do you write about? whatever i go through emotionally, anger, love (both lost and gained), or sometimes just random thoughts smooshed 2gether

Why do you write? it's my personal escape...writing a good poem is like having a great orgasm, it feels soo damn good 2 get out of your system.

I've dabbled in all of da above! But my favz would be fiction and screenplays and poetry n lyricz- depending on what vibe i'm on.
What do you write about? I love 2 just immerse myself in2 my characters, feel them, become them when i write...create parallel worlds, possibilities, fantasy fiction!! Sharing profound ideas via wordz. My favourite thing 2 do is 2 write fantasy on a cold stormy day- i get in such a mood!!!

Why do you write? Cause as cheesy as this soundz- i was a story teller from when i was a kid. I'd write long stories which never ended It's whatz in me. I love playin with wordz. I love creating worldz. I love creating mood and character. I burn inside when i write sometimez. Dat way i know, it was just one of da thingz i was just meant 2 do.

I write short stories and non-fiction articles for magazines.
I keep sending them out and once in a while somebody likes them.
I'd like to write books for the young adult market.
I write because I'm alive.

I use a current Writer's Market and get the guidelines for the publication I want to consider my article.I have a few publishers that know my work now so it's a little easier.Writer's magazine prints lists of publishers who are buying and great hints for polishing your work.

I write scripts and poetry, and I write reviews for CDs and films.

i write poetry...all different varieties

i mostly write about love...having or losing, so that mushy, luvy bubbie stuff...but there r some on other subjects

i tried 2 get published once & got turned down, but my teacher thought i just sent it 2 the wrong place 4 my work...maybe i will try again eventually

i write because...i cant not write...it helps me get things off my mind

I started writing stories when I was in 2nd grade...

I basically write a lot of silly shit. My english teachers, both in high school and in college, have told me I have a lot of talent for it and should pursue a carrer in it some day. I don't really know about that, but do enjoy it, and I would like to do something creative for a living, so I try to keep my skills sharp by writing on my own from time to time.
