What's a good PC Repair program??? My computer has recently been infected with the "Aurora" spyware/trojan file. I also cannot fully execute a viruscan or spyware scan because when it hits (what I believe is) an Intel file (DHTMLED.ocx) my PC freezes.
Can anyone recommend a good "PC repair" prgram that I can download to clean up my computer, remove spyware, and fix any problems with my processor files? By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

I have McAfee via AOL...and it hasn't been able to get rid of Aurora. There's a file in my I386 folder (related to the Intel processor I assume) that causes the PC to freeze everytime the McAfee virusscan hits it. I'm definitely no expert on these things but I have yet to find a virus/spyware/adware that Norton couldn't handle.

Well sometimes there is stuff out there that kicks Norton's ass. So that's why its good to Ad aware and Spybot on standby.

Ad Aware and Spybot did nothing to help me when I got infected last year. What I did was go to Microsoft's website to make sure I had all my updates, as I had been offline for a year and then I did a search online for the name of the virus I had and found many free downloads that destroyed it.

I think that I'm going to get Norton. Norton has stepped up its game. However, its a bitch to uninstall the previous versions of Norton software. You have to get into mode to pull the shit off I found out but I got the damn thing working right so I am happy.

One of my hobbies is being a part-time computer on the weekends so I can crack on it beleive me . Usually at my job, I can troubleshoot a computer problem and diagnose it before the actual tech person gets there and all the tech person has to do is fix the damn problem. Try Hitman Pro.
It a sort of container program that with one click installs, seeks updates and runs Ad-Aware, Spybot, Spy Sweeper (trialversion), CWShredder, SpywareBlaster, Spyware Block List en Trend Micro's Sysclean Package. It's in dutch though, but most of it speaks for itself. You don't scare me; i got kids

C:\FORMAT C:
Sorry, I've been able to stay virus free for 10 years or so, so I haven't invested too much into virus programs. I run the occasional scan over at pandasoftware.com and use ZoneAlarm as my firewall, but that's about it.
