By far!!

Although my daughter, who takes after my father and I (the brains in the family), is extremely advanced for her age.

She may be more intelligent than I am. eek

I'd have to say I am. Also the most "enlightened"...though I try my best to pass that down.

My father is professor in economics, always had the best degrees and didn't even had to work for them. I'm also a bright student, but I'm a perfectionist; and this has had various effects throughout my life. I'm afraid I don't miss talent, but I do miss ambition and belief in myself. People always say 'Marie will manage' but it's not like that, in fact. So no, not the smartest. lol

I'd say it's a tie between myself and my younger brother & sister. We're kind of a geek squad.

Sis and I will have to defer to my brother though, who will have his PhD by the end of the year.

I take it you mean smart = intelligent = high IQ?

In that case it might be me, but my mother is extremely smart in a general sense. I have yet to see her fail to understand a complex situation that involves complicated relationships, circumstances, emotions etc. She is definitely on the ball with pure IQ challenges, but I'd rather describe her as "wise".

I've been really silly lately and taken every serious IQ test I can get my hands on. I think I feel a need to "prove myself" since I don't think my career is reflecting my ability. It's really juvenile and ridiculous - I shouldn't care so much what others think and IQ is just a very specific type of intelligence anyway - but I guess doing these tests can be quite entertaining too and ultimately, I think that's the reason why I'm still taking them.

My goal is to acquire the same kind of wisdom that my mother has. I want to feel comfortable in all types of situations that life can throw at me. I want to be able to help others. I'm not quite there yet, but at least I'm on my way.

"Smartest" by common sense then NO, I do some dmb shit sometimes. But "smartest" by intelligence I am most of the time. I think I'm a crooked Einstein (sp?).

It's so hard to judge that, in some senses I'd say yes and in some I'm not. Can't be arsed to argue for it though lol
