I did a quick search (myself since the ORG search function does not work) and here are links or actual pictures I found in some threads that are considered offensive by many, have no warnings like the ones in Dook’s thread and appear to have gone un-protested, probably because they are from a perspective “from the other side” of Dook’s.

Thread: Man tasered to death
Links to video of man being tasered to death. No warnings.

Thread: What is the face of war?
Link to pictures of dead military men. No warnings. Very graphic.

I could have gone on and on, and I’m sure there were a lot more pictures, videos, and links farther back. So where were all the protests and complaints about those things? I think the moderators made a tough decision, but a fair one. You either have to ban/delete all pictures, videos, links that show these kinds of things, or allow them all. Not allow some based on an ideology or political perspective and disallow others based on the same criteria.

The solution is real simple. If a thread or link offends you, do not click on the thread or link.
