I can't really afford to lose too much anywhere else. I wish I could detach my stomach for a few days and send it to a spa or something. have you called the institute of higher colonics? The following was reported in January 11, 1999 issue of USA Today: "Most people who eat the standard American 'goo and glue' diet have about 5-10 pounds of matter stored in the colon. It's said that, according to the autopsy, John Wayne had 40 pounds of impacted fecal matter in his body at death. Elvis reportedly had 60 pounds." I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet but...try The Zone diet. It seems a lil complicated at first but basically what it does is keep your insulin levels in "the zone" and not up and down all the time...it's a restricted carb diet but not extreme like some...It really targets the weight in the belly area.
I've always been thin so I really don't have any diet experience but after having a child I had some extra weight I was trying to get rid of and I didn't know what to try (besides exercise..which sux [Edited 6/13/05 8:38am] "not a fan"

I'm not overweight and it wouldn't benefit me to burn fat anywhere else. I don't have hardly any fat anywhere apart from this little gut and slight love handles. Sit-ups screw up your back. Crunches work your abs. "Side" crunches work your obliques. Then you can get your; ![]() They don't screw up your back, but they work your hip flexors as well which is not really something most people want to do, so you might as well stick to a variety of crunches, lying leg raises and if possible maybe even a few hanging leg raises.
