The film looks so not funny. I'll wait for it to come to DVD.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

That's pretty bad but the movie isn't "The Honeymooners" TV show. It just using the name and several elements. I'm not saying this because it's African Americans in a show that had a white cast...it just isn't the show and the fact that they said they've never seen the show tells you it isn't. They aren't working with the idea of remaking the show. It's using some parts of doing something totally different. It doesn't look too bad but I'm not rushing out to see it either. I'd see it over anything else out this week, though. Now next week I think I'll cave into the pressure and see "Batman Begins", which is supposedly the best "Batman" movie....good luck outdoing the first two for my money. It doesn't look like it's any fun. Looks way to fucking serious and maybe that's more accurate but I think great movies use comedy to lighten the mood at apporpaite times.

I would've agreed with your original post if they didn't bother to watch the show at all, but it's one of those better late than never deals. None of the clips were funny though, so $6 sounds about right.
