Can you rip the Audio off of a DVD and burn it to a CD?

I have a DVD burner so I'm familiar with ripping and burning entire copies of DVDs...But, I'd like to take concert DVDs and make a CD of the audio...does anyone know how to do this?

Download Audio Hijack.

http://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijack/

It will record the audio as an AIFF file, which you can convert to MP3, or burn directly to CD.

Use SoundStudio to separate tracks.

Record the audio using a WAV program.

eye use Creative Wave Studio.

Set the recording to WAV (just like recording from a MIC) and then that will record the audio from the speakers.

Longer process than this but this is what eye do.

If doing so, make sure no program that might make a sound (like instant messengers) will be on. because it'll record any and every sound your computer generates at the time.

That would solve alot of problems.

I'm sure there are equivalent programs, to do the same thing as Audio Hijack and SoundStudio, for the PC.
