What was your best Halloween costume?

Three years ago my husband and I attended a Halloween party and I convinced him that we needed to go dressed as OJ and Nicole. It was macabre, but also kinda funny. I put make up on my face to look like bruises. My husband had on a nice suit and carried around a football. Sick, huh? biggrin

What was your best ?

clapping That's cool. lol

I've gone as many things/people. hmmm My favorites were Betty Boop, Jean Harlow, Cleopatra, Medusa, and last year I went as Ace Frehley from Kiss. headbang

I make all my own costumes myself, and work on them for weeks, sometimes months, style my own wigs, make-up, etc. and I love it. Halloween is my favorite day of the year. nod

I know I've posted this before - but this past Halloween I yellowfaced, which I found to be extremely funny. I wanted people to be offended (a la Bamboozled) but instead everyone thought it was a cute costume... #@)$(&@*!! The fact that yellowfacing seems to be more socially and culturally acceptable than, say, blackfacing pissed me right off.

My boyfriend went as Prince (a really tall Prince, he's over six feet) and had his ass hanging out...

I mean, like, where is the sun?

Anxiety

when i was in high school, my mom was a costumer for a local community theater, so she was able to check out all kinds of crazy shit for me to wear, plus she got to dig through stuff they were throwing out and she'd bring stuff home that she thought i'd be able to use. as a result, one year i was able to dress up as mozart for halloween.

my second best costume was in college, when i dressed like prince from the 'batdance' video.

third prize goes to the year i dressed as a drag king and everyone actually thought i was a chick dressed as a guy. Victoria/Victor, anyone? lol
