it was bizarre!

i was walking with my dog through the forest just outside of GeneralDiscussionland and found this tree witha big lovesign door carved out of it, and so naturally i opened it and went through

I looked around at sheer amazement at these elves running around celebrating someone called Prince

"What's This, What's this?"

i sang to myself.

many things are different but there was one really bizarre simalirity over there:

they hate anxiety too!!

I started in that forum.

But people got tired of me referring to Prince as a New Power Butt Puppet, so I came over to GD. Shit, half of you guys here aren't quite sure who Prince even is.

I started there also. I still don't have the hang of this stupid site.

i started in GD, and used to go between M&M, GD, and P&R till the somewhat psychotic level of 'defend everything prince has ever done, and people who dare speak ill of jughead or wedding feast will be shot to death' syndrome moved me fairly permenantly to GD and P&R

It turned from a "lets see what we can contribute with our personalities" into an all out invasion of sorts that just didn't go too well. But, I made some interesting friends from that experience.

I think the problem with the other forum is that you have some very devoted fans enamored by Prince over there. Speaking ill of him would be like going into P&R and speaking ill about God. Some folks may agree, but the ones that don't will be very vocal.

In GD, you never know what people are going to be passionate about. Animal Rights? Bondage? Sex? Movies? You never know--so it ends up being more tolerant to minority views.

I still love the P M&M forum and still play in it--but I do so knowing half my shit might get locked.
