I'm more aloof here..distant. Not so in real life, body language and gestures and facial expressions are an important part of communicating. When you can see the twinkle in the eye and curl of the mouth when somebody makes a comment, that makes a difference (imo) I know that to be especially true after meeting, Lleena. At the same time, though, I wonder if it's a bit weird in itself when people share too much. Where do you, me, we - draw the line? I mean, like, where is the sun?

Mostly it's just because I'm too damn lazy to post anything more serious than emoticons, pics of Jimmy Page, and talk about music on here. But then anyone who really knows me also knows that I pretty much talk about Jimmy Page non-stop anyway. I knew I had more in common with you Except for the Jimmy Page part and I will convert you soon regarding Jimmy Page.... Marielouise : It is for many people. And it helps you to get known I think. The more sophisticated ones (like me cool ) stay undercover for a long time. lol
It certainly does. They have to get to know you first, and it's a lot easier to get noticed when you're really funny, or emphasise some other aspect of your personality.

Lolly? and in answer no..... most people who have met me would say my "org" personality is a pretty fair representation of me as a person in my private spare time... but not of me as a whole, On a professional level i am very different, limited people here get to see the rest of me. The org to me is fun, i come here to play and be silly, i have enough stress at work, when i do post serious stuff it tends to have to be something i am passionate about. I don't think its a bad thing that we only show a facet of ourselves on a website, we do it all the time in real life, we are slightly different in different circumstances, I have many roles in life, a mother, a lover, a daughter, an employee, a counciller.... i change the way i behave and what i show to fit the time and needs of the moment ohhhhh didn't mean to go on so long
