retina said: It seems to me that a lot of people on this site have very clear and straightforward personalities/styles, sometimes to the extent that it makes me wonder if they can really be like that in real life? I'm sure they are actually more complex!
For example: Nero - She's pretty much always tough and aggressive in her posts. She's often funny too, but it's that biting no-fear-toughness that is always shining through. 2the9s - Aaaaalways joking. On rare occasions (usually involving book discussions ) he seems to be serious, but even then his lone smilies at the bottom of his posts make me wonder if he's just pulling our legs. shausler - The man can't be jive talking like that in real life, can he? Cloudbuster - The man of the many poopsandwiches and childish/funny/cute duels with Christopher or who else happens to get in his way. Have you ever read a serious sentence - or any sentence for that matter - that Cloudbuster has written? klhk - No further comment necessary. I'm sure the org is simplifying my personality too. For example, I think my serious sides sometimes take the upper hand, but it's hard for me to get a clear picture of that since it's too close to home. Do you feel that your personality is simplified here on the Org? And if so, what is causing it? Are we all under Ben's perverted spell? Or maybe Prince's? I think that when one assumes a persona in can narrow in one a few aspects of how someone is. Many here also may not want strangers into the personal side of themselves. I do have to say many are multifaceted around here. For me you may catch me bantering with Cborgman or batting my eyes at Dook. Other times I'm giving advise to people and fending off the 9s. Though you may not see me in all the threads...so it's hard to say...unless you follow someone around and see all their posts. I have met some orgers off line and you get a much better picture of who someone is...even if it's just waiting for dinner to arrive. Christian Zombie Vampires

Ex-Moderator | I think I'm pretty much the same in real life as here. But I think I probably am similar in that I'm a bit more serious here than in real life. |

I'm very shy in real life. and more than that, I'm quiet.
When I'm in a group of people, I tend to turn invisible, only in more intimate situations I start talking (though I do keep quiet in the even more intimate situations, unless those situations make me even louder, if you know what I mean )
