I am a good father and husband and spend a lot of time playing with my older child, holding my baby, and having deep discussions with the wife. Lately though she seems to be a bit jealous of the time I spend on the Org. I am only on for a couple of hours a day, at the most, and that's just to post a few random things here and there to get the recognition/adoration that I so desperately deserve. Instead of watching "Law and Order" re-runs with the intensity that she does, I'm over there on the laptop, laughing my ass off at what I'm writing and watching my threads drop quickly to Page 10. And she's like "You're on Prince.Org, aren't you?" or "I hope you are enjoying your Prince.Org" all sarcastically. Lately I have to lie and say I'm downloading porn, which doesn't make her nearly as upset.

So my question is this: does anybody else's significant other give you a hard time for spending too much time on the Org?

Some friends really don't understand why I do this, surfing the org I mean. They're like "Marie, why do you do that? You're not an ugly internetgeek" I always say not all of you are ugly geeks either.

My boyfriend sometimes asks me what the hell I discuss on here and I tell him it's an open place, if he's curious he can read it.

I don't think my wife understands how important it is for me to get affirmation from complete, but really hillarious, strangers. I also don't think she understands how lonely it is to be a Prince fan in Podunk, South Carolina.
