Boy!!...."Pay Attention!!" God Bless this Child....
When is the last time you have either heard this or even spoke it to your child or someone else's?? God Bless this Child.... This is a child that has enough "eyes" watching out for them in so many ways that they can "afford" to not pay attention sometimes and this is a great way to live or even experience on the smallest of cognitive levels. God Bless this Child.... So next time you hear or even utter this to a child think about how free his or her mind is at that very moment that they just "could" be in the middle of thoughts that are defining their very existence to the world. God Bless this Child.... God Bless the parents and adults that are "watching" this child as they are knowing that sometimes you ARE the eyes and ears for this child as they take in their world in that private way of theirs. God Bless All of You.... For overstanding these words and reading it all out of respect for my little gift to your days..... God Bless me for having this bomb ass weed to take me out of my stressful world to think about the free minds of our youth! The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

little boys have a million more important things on their minds than you telling them to hurry up and get their shoes on.

I pass an elementary school on my way to the grocery store all the time and everytime I see them outside playing and running around, I always get teary eyed.
The promise. The cycle of life. It is all so extraordinary. I wish them the best that life has to offer.

I always think of childhood as running everywhere, excitement, my dad throwing me up between his shoulders as I ran to him as he walked home from work, knocking my friends's doors asking them if they were "coming out to play", collecting ladybirds and hairy caterpillars from the cornfield in empty ice cream tubs, bees in jars full of thistles and flowers, divebombing Bargeddie river fully clothes, getting lost in the woods and hoping no-one found me.
I'll probably explode all over my wife in the delivery room when I have my first. At least I'll be in the right place. The rational side of me knows I've helped brew another little monster destined to choke even more life out of this dying planet, but fuck rational. It's a person who I'll hear laugh, think thoughts that have never been thunk, see things in a different way from me, hear things in a different way from me, maybe even make someone fall in love with them one day. Christ, I should never have had that bottle of wine.
