MICROCHIP IN YO NECK(OR IN THIS CASE YO CAR!!)!! How about this for a whacked out fucked up idea????? 
In the next 10-15 years the DOT here in this country wants 2 have ALL our cars installed with a microchip(sort of like those satelite mapping devices) and then charge everyone £1.34 for every mile we drive(and in some areas and on certain roads it could b even more per mile!!)!!!! They are thinking of replacing the car tax with this idea!! They think its gonna cut down on our horrendous congestion problems we are having here!! The thing is, this idea, if it comes about, is gonna bleed everyone financially!! One Sky reporter did a "dummy run" between his home in London and a relatives home in South Wales, and the journey there and back, plus the toll fee for the Severn Bridge, would cost him £300+ ALONE and thats without all the other journeys he has 2 do during his typical week!!! Our yearly car tax is £165.00(which in my mind is criminal enough anyway compared 2 how much we paid in the USA!!). So this is yet another example of our Government trying 2 scrounge out every last penny from us in taxes and in the case of transport, saying that its all in a good cause 2 cut down on congestion!!!! It doesnt take a rocket scientist 2 figure it out, does it?? Totally criminal in my opinion!!! I can forsee that very soon theres gonna b loads and loads of cars sitting in driveways just rotting and rusting away cos people here just wont b able 2 afford 2 use them!!! Either that or pushed down clifftops cos they cant sell them!!! And its no use relying on trains here to get u anywhere!!!!

ALL cars now are fitted with catalytic converters so that means that pollution now is at a bare minimum!! And not all American cars now are these huge tanks that guzzle gas!! In fact now cars in the US are now the same size as cars here in the UK!! | |

In fact now cars in the US are now the same size as cars here in the UK!! errrrr yeah ..... of course they are!!! (if you say so) ????? .....Is that because they now sell the American gas guzzlers in the UK too? Such as the Jeep and the Hummer - I would say they guzzler a good amount of gas!!! | |

£93.00 = $180.00(6 months car tax) £165.00 = $330.00 £300.00 = $600.00 I am just rounding off the conversions to the nearest complete figure!! | |

Well, well, well!! The Brits all better start buying bikes!! Because in 5 years time the Dept of Transport here is gonna start implementing this scheme!! There was an article about it in one of 2days papers, so my husband said!!!
That means that EVERYTHING that has an engine and wheels is gonna have this tracking device/black box type of thing installed in it!!! And because of this soon the whole of this country will grind 2 a halt, cos it will affect business and industries, commercial factions like stores, restaurants, pubs, etc. cos no-one will b able 2 afford 2 go 2 work and also people wont b able 2 afford 2 go shopping, eat out, or tend 2 other businesses!!! You wont b able 2 visit long distance relatives or freinds either!! U Brits will all b held hostage at home due 2 this Governments utter greed!!!!! The thing is, if this scheme was proposed in the USA, there would b outcries and People Power will b out in force cos Americans wouldnt go for such a crazy, whacked out scheme as this!!!! Its a pity theres no such thing as People Power here, but then the Brits have always been such mamby pamby wimps!!!! | |

well the £1.34 is the top price or so i have read, for major roads and peak times....
there will be a more standard rate of 4p per mile on some roads ranging up to £1.40ish i believe it's not going to be on all roads all of the time either i don't know how i feel about it personally, i think it may increase the already gaping gap in the social classes and inequalitys in the uk but we shall see The west midlands where i live is a possible pilot scheme so lets see how it pans out I think something has to be done, just not sure what,  | |
